does anyone have a recipe for sopa de salchichon

I do not have a recipe, but would absolutely LOVE one. I am a 39 year old female from Chi-town who learned to cook from my Abuelita. She passed away 15 years ago and for the life of me, I do not remember how she made hers (I should have paid more attention!). I've gone to many restaurants and tried to mimic their version and have failed miserably. It's getting cold here in the Midwest and a Sopita de Salchichon sounds really good right now!
