Refresco de Tamarindo

1/2 lb. tamarind with seeds
3 cups water
1 cup sugar
Place 3 cups of water in a big bowl and add the peeled tamarinds.

Let this soak for an hour.

After an hour, mash with your hands so you can remove the seeds.

Drain through a colander and sweeten to taste.

Serve chilled with lots of ice.
If it's still too strong, add more water.
