3-4 Large green plantains
Garlic salt to taste
Vegetable canola oil
Cut both ends off of the plantain and run the knife along the entire outside curve, cutting into the thickness of the peel.
Cut the plantain as if cutting thin pin wheels as in potato chip style.
Heat the vegetable oil on medium high heat.
Add the banana chips and fry until crisp.
Season with the garlic salt to taste.
You may use a food processor to slice the plantains faster.
